How AussiePick handles information about you, which, in short, is barely at all.
1. What this site is
AussiePick (aussiepick.com) is a small website with classic games and free-to-play pokies that run in your browser. It has no user accounts, no profiles and no login of any sort, which means you can use the whole site without ever telling us who you are.
2. Information we collect
We do not ask for personal details, and no form on the site could collect them. Like nearly every website, our server does keep an ordinary technical log of each request, containing:
- The IP address behind the request
- The browser and operating system your browser identifies itself with
- Which page was asked for, and at what time
- The referring page, where your browser supplies one
We use those logs to keep the site healthy and to see which pages people visit. They are not used to profile anyone, and they are never sold or passed to anyone for advertising purposes.
3. Cookies and browser storage
No cookies of our own are set by this site. 2048 and Sudoku save your grid in progress to your browser’s local storage so you can return to it; that information never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and can be cleared through your browser settings at any time.
4. Links to other websites
Every game runs on this site. Should a page link elsewhere, for instance an email link, the site you land on has its own privacy policy and its own cookies, and we have no control over or insight into either.
5. Email you send us
When you email info@aussiepick.com, we hold your message and address for as long as it takes to reply and for a reasonable time after that. We never put your address on a mailing list.
6. Age
The site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We collect no personal information and do not knowingly hold data about anyone under 18.
7. Your rights
Depending on the law where you live, you may be able to ask what information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. With no account data on file, such a request would in practice relate to server logs or an email conversation. Write to info@aussiepick.com and we will reply.
8. Security
Everything is delivered over HTTPS and the software behind the site is kept up to date. Nothing online is watertight, but a site that stores no personal data gives an intruder very little worth taking.
9. Changes to this policy
Whenever the way the site works shifts, we revise this page accordingly. The copy in front of you is the copy that applies.
10. Contact
Any question about this policy can go to info@aussiepick.com.
